GoPay's Transport & Travel Feature Simplifies Purchasing Return Tickets for Eid al-Fitr

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The digital payment application GoPay has launched the ‘Transport & Travel’ feature, which allows the public to purchase bus, ferry, and aeroplane tickets for Eid al-Fitr return travel needs in a practical manner within a single application. Head of GoPay Wallet, Kelvin Timotius, stated that the feature was introduced to meet the needs of the public still hunting for Eid al-Fitr return tickets, particularly for popular routes and specific departure schedules. ‘As part of the daily lives of Indonesians, GoPay continues to strive to provide features relevant to user needs. One of them is the ’Transport & Travel’ feature, which enables users to buy intercity transportation tickets more practically through just one GoPay application,’ Kelvin said in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday. Through the ‘Transport & Travel’ feature, users can check departure schedules in real-time, select seats, make payments, and monitor booking status directly without needing to switch platforms. The feature is the result of cross-company collaborations that integrate ticket purchasing services into the GoPay application. To access this feature, users can open the GoPay application, select ‘View All’ on the main page, then enter the ‘Transport & Travel’ category and choose the desired ticket purchasing platform. Users can then specify the origin and destination cities, select departure times, and make payments directly in the application. GoPay states that this integration provides more travel options and flexibility in choosing schedules and modes of transportation, especially for the public who have not yet obtained Eid al-Fitr return tickets or need to find quick and practical travel alternatives.
