Jakarta (ANTARA) - GoPay is supporting Bank Indonesia’s (BI) efforts to encourage the development of a digital payment system that is inclusive, secure, and relevant to the public.

At the 2026 Indonesia Digital Economy and Finance Festival (FEKDI), organised by Bank Indonesia, GoPay participated to share perspectives on the development of Indonesia’s digital financial ecosystem. The company also introduced various financial innovations and solutions designed to meet the needs of both consumers and businesses.

“GoPay’s participation in FEKDI 2026 provides an opportunity for the public to learn about and directly experience digital technology innovations,” stated GoPay Director Yogi Harsudiono in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The event also served as a platform to observe how collaboration between industry players and stakeholders can support the creation of a healthy digital financial ecosystem that benefits the wider community.

Through a talk show session titled “Beyond Payments: How Digital Talent is Building the Future of Indonesia’s Financial Ecosystem”, GoPay shared insights regarding the role of Indonesian talent in driving continuous digital technology innovation. The session also discussed GoPay’s evolution from a simple payment solution into a broader financial services platform, highlighting various innovations and collaborations aimed at building an inclusive and accessible digital financial ecosystem.

Several digital innovations were presented, including QRIS Tap (QRIS Tanpa Pindai), cross-border QRIS payments—which are already available in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, and China—as well as online transaction payment services in collaboration with Midtrans, a payment gateway provider.

In addition to the talk show, GoPay provided a “GoPay experience booth” at the FEKDI 2026 event. Through this booth, visitors could directly test various innovations and products from both GoPay and Midtrans.

Through FEKDI 2026, the company aims to demonstrate how financial service innovations continue to evolve to meet the needs of consumers and businesses. Digital payments have now become an inseparable part of the daily financial experiences and requirements of both the public and business owners.

Consequently, the company is committed to providing digital financial services that are inclusive, easy to use, and secure for all citizens. This commitment is supported by talent that understands not only technology but also the needs of users and businesses, while ensuring strict compliance with regulations.

GoPay’s presence at FEKDI 2026 serves as an interactive space for visitors to get closer to GoPay’s various innovations and services, while observing how digital financial solutions can support the daily needs of society and businesses.
