GoPay Spiker Launches New Feature: Merchants Can Now Choose Transaction Notification Voices

Jakarta — GoPay has added voice notification options to its GoPay Spiker device to provide merchants and customers with a more diverse transaction experience.

GoPay Spiker is a QRIS-based voice payment notification device used by merchants using the GoPay Merchant application. The device provides direct voice confirmation when a payment transaction is successfully completed.

“Merchants who have been using GoPay Spiker want notification voices that are closer to their character and that of their customers. Some want local touches, some want modern vibes, and some want new male or female voices. We listened to that feedback and made it a reality,” said Haryanto in an official statement on Wednesday (11 March 2026).

Voice options now available include Pakde Slamet, Ci Amoy, Adit Jaksel, and an updated Kak Laras voice. The presence of these options is expected to make the transaction experience feel more familiar whilst remaining informative.

Once selected, the device automatically adjusts to the desired voice option.

This feature addition complements various functions in the GoPay Merchant application to support business operations, including real-time transaction monitoring, reception of offline and online payments, and interest-free fund withdrawal facilities to bank accounts.

GoPay is a digital wallet under GoTo Financial and GoTo Group. The company states it has introduced various innovations to help people access digital financial services.
