GoPay Introduces International Money Transfer Feature to Digital Wallets

GoPay has introduced an innovative international money transfer feature, enabling users to send money to bank accounts and digital wallets (E-wallets) in various countries quickly, easily, securely, and transparently directly from their mobile phones. Users can transfer funds to bank accounts and e-wallets in Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, India, Saudi Arabia, and Thailand through the international transfer feature in the GoPay application. “Going forward, international transfer destinations will be added gradually,” said Head of GoPay Wallet, Kelvin Timotius, in a statement in Jakarta on Monday. This service represents a concrete step by GoPay to provide digital financial solutions that keep pace with the evolving needs of the Indonesian people. “Through the international transfer feature in the GoPay application, we are simplifying the process of sending money to bank accounts and e-wallets abroad, all within a single application,” he added. The international transfer feature offers a more convenient transaction experience with a fast process for Indonesians, while fully complying with all existing regulations so users can send money safely. “The international transfer feature in the GoPay application also provides transparency at every stage of the transaction. Users can see all transaction fees before making a transfer and monitor the transaction status in real-time directly through the GoPay application,” Kelvin explained. “We hope this feature will make it even easier for families who regularly send funds to family members studying or working abroad,” Kelvin said. To mark the launch of this feature, GoPay is offering a promotion with free administrative fees for users’ first transfer transaction to bank accounts or digital wallets in the available destination countries.
