GoPay Facilitates Transactions, Offers Bus and Flight Ticket Purchases for Lebaran 2026

Jakarta — GoPay, Indonesia’s digital wallet and financial services platform, is easing transactions for consumers planning to return to their hometowns during the 2026 Lebaran holiday period.

Through the “Transport & Travel” feature in the GoPay application, users can now purchase airline tickets, intercity buses (AKAP), and ferry tickets directly within a single application.

Kelvin Timotius, Head of GoPay Wallet, explained that the feature eliminates the need to switch to other applications, as the entire process is conducted seamlessly within GoPay. “Users can check departure schedules, select seats, make payments, and monitor booking status directly,” Kelvin stated on Tuesday, 17 March 2026.

This integration provides a simpler and more efficient ticket purchasing experience, particularly for consumers preparing for holiday travel. As part of everyday Indonesian life, GoPay continues to develop features relevant to user needs. “One example is the ‘Transport & Travel’ feature, which enables users to purchase intercity transport tickets more conveniently through just one GoPay application,” Kelvin added.

The feature is the result of cross-company collaboration integrating ticket purchasing services into the GoPay application. Partners involved include tiket.com for airline ticket purchases, DAMRI and redBus for intercity and interstate bus services (AKAP), and PELNI for ferry travel.

To access this feature, users can follow these steps:

• Open the GoPay application

• On the main page, select “View All”

• Enter the “Transport & Travel” category and choose the desired ticket purchase platform

• Select departure and destination cities

• Determine departure time, then complete payment without needing to switch applications

Through integration with these various travel platforms, GoPay provides easier access for consumers to plan journeys. The feature is expected to help users prepare for the holiday with greater convenience, particularly ahead of Eid al-Fitr celebrations.
