JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) is expanding access to financial services by introducing a cardless cash withdrawal feature for GoPay balances through the BRI ATM and CRM network. This service can be used at more than 19,000 BRI ATMs and CRMs spread across Indonesia, making it easier for the public to convert digital wallet balances into cash. BRI’s Director of Information Technology, Saladin Dharma Nugraha Effendi, stated that the bank’s extensive network is the key to supporting this service. “Through the concept of an open and integrated network, BRI is strengthening the national digital financial ecosystem,” he said in an official statement on Saturday (28/3/2026). He added that the availability of a wide network allows the public to maintain access to cash in various areas they visit. Additionally, the service is supported by an interoperability system that enables transactions to run smoothly and securely. Integration with the ATM network of other banks that are part of the Link network also makes cash withdrawals via the GoPay application faster and easier. “This collaboration demonstrates our commitment to providing inclusive financial services to the public,” he said. Amid the need for rapid transactions, access to cash is still considered relevant, both for transactions in traditional markets, transportation, and other daily needs.
