New information regarding the Googlebook laptop has resurfaced, this time revealing a slim design with noticeably thin screen bezels.

According to a report from Gadgets 360 on Monday (21/9) local time, the leak was shared by technology leaker Evan Blass, displaying images of an unbranded Googlebook.

From the circulating images, the laptop appears to feature an aluminium body with thin bezels surrounding the screen. The lower part of the screen displays a taskbar, while the keyboard features a chiclet-style design. The ‘Googlebook’ logo is seen engraved on the left side, just below the keyboard. On the lid, there is a light strip referred to as a ‘glowbar’.

Pre-orders for the Googlebook laptop have been open since Monday (21/9). Several laptop manufacturers, including Acer, Asus, Lenovo, Dell, and HP, are confirmed to be introducing their respective Googlebook models.

One of the introduced features is ‘Magic Pointer’, which allows users to access Gemini AI features directly from the screen through simple touch gestures. The laptop is reported to utilise the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor.

Meanwhile, Acer previously showcased a Googlebook device at the IFA 2026 event. The Acer model is expected to feature a 14-inch (35.6 cm) OLED screen and will be available with choices of the Intel Core Ultra 5 325 or Core Ultra 7 355 processors.
