Jakarta – Google Indonesia’s Communications Manager Feliciana Wienathan has stated that the company prioritises security and privacy in Lyria 3, an AI-powered music creation feature utilising artificial intelligence technology from Gemini.

Users can leverage Lyria 3, powered by Google DeepMind technology, to create songs with a duration of approximately 30 seconds, complete with instruments, vocals, and lyrics.

At a media briefing in Jakarta on Friday, Feliciana stated that Google prioritises security and privacy in all its products, including AI Gemini.

With the principle of “security by default and privacy by design,” she continued, security and privacy protections do not emerge later, but are already part of the initial design.

“We consider privacy as much as possible from the beginning. And it is not just something that emerges or becomes an idea once the product is finished,” she said.

“That is why we say, across all Google products, whether we are creating them or even from the concept stage, we always uphold these two principles,” she added.

She also stated that the AI-based music creation feature Lyria 3 can be used to generate original music tracks and song cover illustrations.

“The models we train are based on AI principles. So we endeavour to minimise similarity and likeness as much as possible,” she said.
