Google Pixel 10a Priced at Around Rp8 Million, Check 5 Key Advantages and Specifications Here!
Google officially introduced the Pixel 10a in February 2026 as a mid-range smartphone that prioritises artificial intelligence (AI) and durability. With a global price starting at US$499 (around Rp8 million), the device brings several specific enhancements that make it stand out in the mid-range segment.
The most striking upgrade is in the display department. The Pixel 10a’s 6.3-inch OLED display now supports brightness up to 3,000 nits. This technology ensures screen visibility remains optimal even under very bright sunlight, a feature typically found only on premium flagship phones.
For the first time, Google is using Gorilla Glass 7i on the A-series. This material offers scratch and impact resistance far better than Gorilla Glass 3 used on the previous generation, giving extra peace of mind to outdoor users.
The Satellite SOS feature is now available on the Pixel 10a. This feature allows users to stay connected to emergency services in remote locations where mobile signal isn’t available, making the phone a reliable travel companion.
Powered by the Tensor G4, the Pixel 10a inherits a range of advanced AI features from the Pixel 10 Pro series, such as Gemini Live, Auto Best Take for group photos, and Magic Editor which is becoming more intuitive.
Google also promises seven years of OS and security updates, making it a long-term investment that is very appealing.
Although the Tensor G4 chipset performance remains quite capable for daily use and multitasking, heavy gamers might want to consider that this chip isn’t as strong as the latest Snapdragon series or the Tensor G5 found in the standard Pixel 10 variant.
The Google Pixel 10a is set to release in March 2026. Check out leaks on Tensor G4 specs, a 120Hz display, and the new Berry & Lavender colour options here!
