Las Vegas (ANTARA) - Google Cloud has officially released the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform at Google Cloud Next ’26, representing a breakthrough for companies to build, manage, and optimise artificial intelligence (AI) agents towards the agentic era (empowered, proactive, and autonomous).

“Today, we are taking AI further by bringing Google AI to every employee in every workflow. Gemini Enterprise is now a comprehensive system for the agentic era,” said Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian during his keynote speech in Las Vegas, United States, on Wednesday (22/4).

Kurian explained that the platform is an evolution of Vertex AI, unifying model selection capabilities, model building, and custom agent development tailored to user needs. The platform is also equipped with new features for agent integration, DevOps, orchestration, and security.

Through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Google Cloud provides access to more than 200 leading AI models via Model Garden. Users can leverage the latest models such as Gemini 3.1 Pro and Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, as well as Lyria 3 models and open models like Gemma 4.

Additionally, the platform supports third-party models from Anthropic, including Claude Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku variants, which are widely used.

“Going forward, all Vertex AI services and roadmap evolutions will be delivered exclusively through the Agent Platform, no longer as standalone services, to support the development of next-generation agents,” he stated.

Kurian also added that the Agent Platform is fully integrated with Gemini Enterprise applications, serving as the primary AI gateway for employees. Google positions these applications as the new face of human-machine interaction.

“This is the new ‘front door’ to AI for all your employees, transforming complex agentic capabilities—empowered, proactive, and autonomous—into simple new ways of working for every staff member,” Kurian added.

In addition to the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Google Cloud has launched a series of new innovations designed to help every organisation transform into an Agentic Enterprise.

Based on an integrated stack designed to turn intelligence into a growth engine, these advancements enable organisations to move beyond simple chatbots towards autonomous AI agents that can perceive, reason, and act to deliver real results.

The eighth-generation Tensor Processing Units (TPU) unit was also introduced, along with various innovations in data, security, and productivity to transform intelligence into a growth engine for businesses.

Google notes that 75 per cent of its Cloud customers have used its AI products to strengthen their businesses, such as AEON360, CIMB Niaga, DBS, Emtek Group, and other global brands.
