“If there are still Jakarta residents who do not return home to their hometowns, they can still maintain kinship ties through video calls and so on. Therefore, the Jakarta Provincial Government will provide various conveniences,” said Pramono in his remarks at the National Monument in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (17 March 2026).
“Among them is transportation during Eid al-Fitr, everything managed by the Jakarta Provincial Government will be free. Whether it is MRT, LRT, TransJakarta, Mikrotrans, JakLingko, and so on,” he added.

“And when you want to return home or come back to Jakarta, Jakarta is open to anyone. But do not make promises that lure or expect something that not everyone can achieve in Jakarta,” he explained.
“Although as Governor and Vice Governor and members of the Forkopimda leadership, we assert that Jakarta will have no law enforcement operations. Jakarta is open for anyone to come. Because I see that almost everyone sitting here previously came to Jakarta to try their luck. Including the Governor and Vice Governor,” he added.
Pramono said that besides free transportation, the provincial government will also hold a discount competition. The Jakarta Provincial Government is offering tax incentives to shopping centres, retail shops and hotels at 70 to 80 per cent.
“Ladies and gentlemen, fellow citizens, for those who once again choose to celebrate in Jakarta, besides free transportation, we will also hold a discount competition. We are providing tax incentives for shopping centres, retail shops, hotels, and shopping centres will even have discounts of up to 70, 80 per cent,” he said.
