Good News: MagangHub Graduates Now Eligible for 15 Competency Certification Schemes
The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) in collaboration with the National Professional Certification Body (BNSP) has facilitated 15 competency certification schemes for graduates of the National Internship Program (MagangHub). The initiative aims to strengthen workforce quality while providing industry-aligned competency recognition.
Minister of Manpower Yassierli stated that competency certifications play a crucial role in enhancing workforce competitiveness. Therefore, the various schemes have been designed based on current industry needs, spanning office administration, information technology, services, finance, human resources, data management, and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).
“Competency certifications are a vital instrument to ensure MagangHub graduates receive recognition for their skills, making them better prepared to compete in the labour market,” Yassierli stated on Monday, 1 June 2026.
The 15 certification schemes include Office Administration Management, Junior Secretary, Web Development Assistant, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Single Entity Financial Reporting, Human Resources Supervisor, Customer Service, Front Office, Computer Operator, Digital Filing, Audio-Visual Production, Data Analyst, Occupational Safety and Health Officer (OSH), and Financial Reporting for Beginners.
Through these schemes, MagangHub graduates are expected to gain industry-relevant competencies, from administrative and service management, digital technology proficiency, financial and human resource management, to data analysis and workplace safety application.
Certification implementation will be carried out by BNSP through professional certification bodies collaborating with Kemnaker’s vocational training centres nationwide.
To support the programme, Kemnaker has mapped the readiness of vocational training centres across Indonesia.
According to the mapping, Major Vocational Training Centre Makassar, Medan, and Vocational Training Centre Surakarta each offer 15 certification schemes. Major Vocational Training Centre Bekasi provides 11.
Major Vocational Training Centre Bandung, Semarang, Vocational Training Centre Aceh, Padang, Samarinda, and Kendari each offer 10. Vocational Training Centre Banyuwangi and Ternate each have nine, while Bantaeng has eight.
Vocational Training Centre Pangkajene and Kepulauan, and Belitung each offer seven. Major Vocational Training Centre Serang has six.
Vocational Training Centre Lombok Timur, Ambon, and Sorong each provide four. Vocational Training Centre Bandung Barat and Sidoarjo each offer three.
Overall, the mapping shows a total capacity of 180 competency certification schemes across all Kemnaker vocational training centres. This step aims to broaden certification access for MagangHub graduates while strengthening their competitiveness and readiness to enter the job market.
