Good news for civil servants (ASN), including government employees (PNS). The government will disburse the 13th-month salary tomorrow, Tuesday 2 June 2026.

Not only active civil servants, but pensioners will also receive the 13th-month salary. The policy is in accordance with Presidential Regulation No. 9 of 2026 regarding holiday allowances and 13th-month salary for state officials, pensioners, pension recipients, and allowance recipients.

“From 2 June 2026, Taspen will disburse the 2026 13th-month salary to pensioners via 46 payment partners across Indonesia,” Taspen stated on its official Instagram account @taspen on Monday (1/6/2026).

Under Presidential Regulation No. 9 of 2026, the 13th-month salary is granted to PNS, prospective PNS (CPNS), government employees with work agreements (PPPK), TNI military personnel, police officers, and state officials.

For leaders, members, and non-ASN staff in non-structural institutions, the 13th-month salary amounts have been determined. For instance, the chairperson or head receives approximately Rp31.4 million, deputy chair Rp29.6 million, while secretary and members each receive Rp28.1 million.

Meanwhile, officials at level I receive around Rp24.8 million, level II Rp19.5 million, level III Rp13.8 million, and level IV Rp10.6 million.

For non-ASN staff, the amount varies by education level. Those with primary to junior high school diplomas can receive between Rp4.2 million and Rp5 million depending on service period, while high school to D-I graduates receive between Rp4.9 million and Rp5.8 million.

Those with D-II to D-III degrees receive approximately Rp5.4 million to Rp6.5 million. D-IV or bachelor’s degree holders can earn Rp6.5 million to Rp7.8 million, while master’s and doctoral graduates receive between Rp7.7 million and Rp9 million, depending on service period.

Key points for the 2026 13th-month salary payment for active civil servants and pensioners:

  • The amount is based on components of May 2026 income

  • No deductions for contributions or other withholdings, except income tax which is borne by the government

  • If a state official or pension recipient has multiple benefit statuses, the 13th-month salary is paid once, based on the highest value benefit

  • For those receiving both pension or widow/widower allowance and their own benefits, the 13th-month salary is paid for both

  • For ASN employees and state officials retiring from 1 June 2026 onwards, the 2026 13th-month salary will be paid by their last employing institution.

Generally, the disbursement of the 13th-month salary is scheduled for June 2026 at the earliest, with amounts varying according to rank, position, grade, or job class.

The following components of the 13th-month salary paid from the state budget (APBN):

  • Basic salary

  • Family allowance

  • Food allowance

  • Position or general allowance

  • Performance allowance

For ASN salaries funded by regional budgets (APBD), the 13th-month salary consists of:

  • Basic salary

  • Family allowance

  • Food allowance

  • Position or general allowance

  • Additional income up to the maximum received in one month for local institutions, considering regional fiscal capacity and in line with applicable regulations.

Components for pensioners and pension recipients:

For ASN pensioners, Taspen advises participants to authenticate once at the start of each month to ensure secure disbursement. “To ensure smooth and secure payment, please authenticate once at the start of each month via the Andal by Taspen app – just once!” Taspen stated.
