Good Governance Becomes Foundation for Companies Facing Change
Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini has stressed that the implementation of good governance is the main foundation for organisations to endure, adapt, and continue to grow amidst increasingly complex dynamics of change. According to her, strengthening governance is not only oriented towards regulatory compliance but must also encourage the creation of a work culture that is adaptive, transparent, accountable, and focused on improving service quality.
“Good governance must be seen as the primary foundation in creating an organisation that is able to survive and develop amidst the dynamics of change. Strengthening governance does not only focus on compliance aspects, but also needs to encourage the creation of a work culture that is adaptive, transparent, accountable, and oriented towards improving service quality,” she said at the Indonesia Excellence GCG Awards 2026 event at Hotel Aryaduta, Jakarta, Tuesday (30/6).
Rini added that trust is an important asset for every organisation. Therefore, strengthening systems, integrity, and adaptability must be continuously improved so that organisations can answer future challenges. “Trust is an important asset for every organisation, so strengthening systems, integrity, and adaptability are elements that need to be continuously developed to answer future challenges,” she said.
She assessed that the implementation of good governance will ultimately have an impact on improving service quality, more effective decision-making, and the creation of organisational sustainability.
