Golkar Deputy Chairman Ahmad Doli Kurnia is mourning the stabbing case of the Chairman of the Golkar Maluku Tenggara II DPD, Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, who died at Karel Sadsuitubun Ibra Airport in Maluku Tenggara. Doli has handed over the investigation of this case to the police. “We are shocked and regret the incident; it is very tragic. Amid the progress we have felt and continue to strive for as a nation, all problems should be resolved through dialogue, with cool heads, and without emotion,” Doli told reporters on Monday (20/4/2026). Doli hopes the stabbing of Nus Kei is not related to political matters. He wants law enforcement to follow up on the incident fairly. “I hope this has no connection to political affairs, especially Golkar. And if this is a personal matter, I hope the family does not respond in the same approach,” said Doli. “It is best to hand it over completely to law enforcement to follow up. And Alhamdulillah, the perpetrator has been arrested,” he added. This Deputy Chairman of the DPR’s Baleg urged Golkar ranks in Maluku Tenggara to control themselves. Golkar has expressed deep condolences over Nus Kei’s passing. “I hope all Golkar party ranks, especially in Maluku Tenggara, can remain in control, not be provoked by emotions, and help cool the situation while monitoring the legal process to proceed as best as possible,” said Doli. “Of course, we, the big Golkar party family, join in mourning and extend condolences to the bereaved family,” he continued. It is known that the two stabbing perpetrators of Nus Kei, initials HR (28) and FU (36), were transferred to Maluku Police Headquarters in Ambon City. The perpetrators were moved from Maluku Tenggara for security reasons. “The two stabbing perpetrators who killed Nus Kei have been transferred to Ambon for further examination,” said the Head of Public Relations of Maluku Police, Commissioner Rositah Umasugi, as reported by detikSulsel, on Monday (20/4).
