Golkar Youth Support Bahlil in Stabilising Domestic Oil Prices

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The general chairmen of the Golkar Party’s youth community organisations (OKP Karya Kekaryaan) have expressed support for the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, in guiding and stabilising Indonesia’s oil prices in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto’s instructions.

In addition, all elements of the Golkar Party’s youth are urged to go down to the grassroots level to oversee the flagship programmes of President Prabowo.

“To all elements of the Golkar Party’s youth, you are also requested to directly engage with the public to socialise the government’s flagship programmes, which are highly beneficial and have been enjoyed and felt by communities in the regions,” said the Head of the Youth and Sports Division of the Golkar Party’s Central Executive Board (DPP), Said Aldi Al Idrus, in his statement in Jakarta on Tuesday.

This was conveyed during the Coordination Meeting of the Youth and Sports Division of the DPP Golkar Party with the General Chairmen of OKP Karya Kekaryaan and the Executive Board of the Golkar Party Youth Force (PP AMPG) at the DPP Golkar Party Building in Jakarta on Monday (6/4).

He also urged the general chairmen of OKP Karya Kekaryaan to conduct coaching for strengthening the cadre base throughout Indonesia and to succeed in the Golkar Party’s programme to recruit two million new cadres.

“Recruitment of millennials, teenagers, and youth elements at all levels. This is in line with the instructions of the General Chairman of the DPP Golkar, Mr Bahlil Lahadalia, because as the Golkar Party’s laboratory, the Youth and Sports Division and OKP Karya Kekaryaan must remain solid in upholding the party’s dignity,” said Said, who also serves as the General Chairman of the PP Angkatan Muda Partai Golkar (AMPG).

Furthermore, he reminded all youth elements in the Golkar Party to identify the best cadres to be proposed as flagship legislative candidates who will increase the party’s votes in 2029.

“Insya Allah, up to today, the Youth and Sports Division of the DPP Golkar Party continues to move militantly to achieve the best results because the General Chairman, Mr Bahlil Lahadalia, has prepared various strategies to increase the party’s votes in the 2029 elections,” he said.

For information, those present at the coordination meeting included, among others, the General Chairmen of AMMDI, Fokusmaker, AMPI, AMSI, BMK 57, Gema MKGR, and HIMA Kosgoro.

“On that occasion, several proposals and organisational strengthening were also agreed upon, as well as consolidation and the formation of OKP Karya Kekaryaan throughout Indonesia to be completed immediately this year 2026,” said Said.
