Golkar to Soon Appoint Acting Chairman of Southeast Maluku DPD to Replace Deceased Nus Kei
Jakarta - The Golkar Party will soon appoint an acting (Plt) Chairman of the Southeast Maluku DPD to replace Nus Kei, who died from stab wounds.
Golkar Party Deputy General Chairman Ace Hasan Syadzily stated that the Maluku Provincial DPD must promptly appoint the acting chairman of the Southeast Maluku DPD Golkar, as a Regional Deliberation for Golkar Southeast Maluku is scheduled soon.
“Because the Musda will be held shortly, the Provincial DPD will certainly appoint the Acting Chairman of the Southeast Maluku DPD, and the Musda will be carried out as soon as possible,” Ace said at the Golkar DPP office in Jakarta on Tuesday (21/4/2026).
“The Maluku Provincial DPD will take further organisational steps to keep the atmosphere conducive for the Musda in Southeast Maluku,” he added.
Ace also conveyed deep condolences over Nus Kei’s death.
He urged all Golkar Party cadres to remain calm and not be provoked by the developing situation.
“We are deeply saddened and extend our profound condolences. All cadres are expected to stay calm, patient, and fully surrender to the applicable legal provisions,” Ace said.
Previously, the Chairman of the Golkar Southeast Maluku DPD, Agrapinus Rumatora alias Nus Kei, became a victim of stabbing and died on Sunday (19/4/2026).
The stabbing incident occurred at Sadsuitubun Airport on Sunday (19/4/2026) around 12:00 WIT, shortly after landing from a flight from Ambon.
Police have arrested two suspected perpetrators, namely HR and FU.
Based on initial examination results, the motive for stabbing Nus Kei to death was revenge due to grief over the death of their relative named Fenansius Wadanubun alias Dani Hoat.
From the confessions of the two suspected perpetrators, Nus Kei is alleged to be behind the murder of the relative of the two suspects.
