Golkar reshuffles DPR commission leadership, Hetifah and Bambang replaced
The Golkar Party faction in the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR) has rotated a number of commission and parliamentary body (AKD) leadership positions, including replacing the chairs of Commission X and Commission XII.
Golkar faction chairman M. Sarmuji confirmed the rotation, which was set out in Golkar Party Faction Letter Number SJ.00.1384 FPG/DPR RI/VIII/2026 dated 14 August 2026 and addressed to the DPR Secretariat General.
Based on the letter received by ANTARA in Jakarta on Wednesday, the position of Chair of Commission X, previously held by Hetifah Sjaifudian, is now filled by Agung Widyantoro.
Meanwhile, the position of Chair of Commission XII, previously held by Bambang Patijaya, is now filled by Melchias Markus Mekeng.
Golkar also replaced several deputy commission chairs. Agun Gunanjar Sudarsa was appointed Deputy Chair of Commission II, replacing Zulfikar Arse Sadikin, while Daniel Mutaqien Syafiuddin became Deputy Chair of Commission III, replacing Sari Yuliati.
Hanan A. Rozak was then appointed Deputy Chair of Commission IV, replacing Panggah Susanto.
Agung Widyantoro previously served as Deputy Chair of the House Honorary Court (MKD). After Agung was appointed Chair of Commission X, the position of Deputy Chair of the MKD from the Golkar faction was filled by Hasan Basri Agus.
In addition to rotating AKD leadership, Golkar replaced the Secretary of the Golkar faction in the DPR, previously held by Sari Yuliati, with Gde Sumarjaya Linggih.
Sarmuji confirmed the replacement. Sari had previously been appointed Deputy Speaker of the DPR, replacing Adies Kadir, who became a Constitutional Court justice.
