Golkar DKI holds orientation for executives to prepare for 2029 elections
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DPD Golkar DKI Jakarta held an orientation for executives of the 2025-2030 term to strengthen cadre capacity and unify organisational steps in preparing for the 2029 elections. “May Golkar Jakarta continue to develop and become the winner in 2029, both in the legislative elections and the Jakarta provincial elections,” said Chairman of DPD Golkar DKI Jakarta, Ahmed Zaki Iskandar, in his statement in Jakarta on Sunday. He stated that this executive orientation aims to strengthen cadre capacity while unifying organisational steps down to the city and regency levels throughout Jakarta. Zaki also reminded Golkar cadres to be able to serve as connectors between the public and the government, both at the central and regional levels. Good communication will minimise misunderstandings and strengthen public trust. “As cadres, we are obliged to be the mouthpiece connecting the public with the legislature, regional government, or central government,” he said. Zaki hopes that all the material presented by the speakers can strengthen the cadres’ readiness to face political dynamics up to 2029. Meanwhile, Orientation Organiser Chairman Judistira Hermawan explained that this year’s theme, “Building Synergy and Strengthening Solidarity Towards Success in the 2029 Elections,” was chosen to encourage the creation of harmonious relationships among executives and strengthen coordination in carrying out party tasks. “With the implementation of this orientation, it is certainly hoped that it can improve good and harmonious relationships among executives, thus creating strong and positive synergy in carrying out party tasks according to each respective duties and functions,” he said. In addition to strengthening internal consolidation, participants were also equipped with basic materials on the history of the Golkar Party, party paradigms, organisational ethics, and effective political communication strategies.
