Golf tourney for Sukarno's centennial

JAKARTA (JP): Organizers expect some 150 golfers to take part in a charity golf tournament to commemorate first Indonesian president Sukarno's centennial on June 30 at the Ancol golf course in North Jakarta.

"The golfers will not only commemorate Bung Karno's centennial but they will also be helping the poor because all of the proceedings will be donated," said Darmansyah of the Jakarta chapter of the '45 Force Council on Tuesday.

"We will be offering four cars for golfers who can manage to make a hole in one. The cars are a Mitsubishi Galant V6, a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Mitsubishi Kuda. We will try to provide a BMW as the fourth car." (nvn)
