Golf meet for the disabled

JAKARTA (JP): Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Hayono
Isman will open a charity amateur golf tournament on Apr. 23 at
the Pondok Indah golf course, South Jakarta.

The tournament is being held to help the Society for the Care
of Indonesian Disabled Children raise funds for organizing the
10th Asia-Pacific conference for the rehabilitation of the
disabled, slated for Sept. 12 here.

The sponsor, the Papan Golf Club, expects its 100 members, who
are members of the association of Indonesian real estate
developers, to take part and give donations, Ersan, the club's
captain, said yesterday. He added non-members are also welcome to
join the event until a total of 160 participants is reached.
