GoldVerium Expands Precious Metal Investment and Partnerships
INFOBRAND.ID, Jakarta – The precious metals investment industry in Indonesia continues to innovate with the launch of GoldVerium’s first outlet in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on 20 May 2026, coinciding with National Silver Day. The company is developing an integrated precious metals investment concept by combining four product lines: Minigold, Maxigold, Silverium, and Copperium. Founder Edi Hermanto explained that the GoldVerium name has been registered since 2021 as the long-term business identity. ‘GoldVerium is a combination of Minigold, Maxigold, Silverium, and Copperium. This is not a new term and I registered it several years ago,’ said Edi during the grand launch in Jakarta. According to him, the shift from Minigold to GoldVerium was made to strengthen branding and increase public trust in the integrated precious metals investment ecosystem. Unlike the previous concept, GoldVerium now acts as a umbrella for four metal brands and opens up partnership opportunities through the development of outlets in various regions. The concept is designed so that partners still benefit within a more integrated distribution system. ‘We want to build an ecosystem that supports each other. When a consumer comes to a GoldVerium outlet, partners still receive a share according to the agreed rules,’ Edi explained. Pasar Minggu was chosen as the premiere outlet location due to its strategic position and easy accessibility from Bogor, Depok, South Jakarta, and West Jakarta. Edi also highlighted the importance of physical assets such as gold and silver amid currency depreciation due to inflation. He disclosed that when he first arrived in Jakarta in 2001, gold price was around Rp77,000 per gram and silver Rp800 per gram. Now gold prices reach around Rp2.8 million per gram, while silver is around Rp60,000 per gram. ‘What’s actually happening is not that gold is rising, but that the value of money keeps falling,’ he said. In addition to expanding the gold and silver business, GoldVerium emphasised that it only produces pure precious metals and does not market metals with low purity. To maintain product quality, the company uses XRF equipment to detect gold content quickly and accurately. The raw materials come from scrap or damaged gold that is processed back into investment products such as Minigold and Silverium. Edi says reputation is an important factor in the precious metals industry because it directly affects consumer and partner trust. ‘In the gold business, reputation is extremely important. If it’s bad, people will know quickly. Therefore we want to become a trusted dealer,’ he added. In addition to gold and silver, GoldVerium also introduces Copperium, or copper, as part of future strategic metals development. According to Edi, copper demand is expected to continue rising for various industries such as cables, electric vehicles, and solar panels. As part of its digital transformation, GoldVerium is also developing an app scheduled to start testing in late May and to be released in June. The app will provide a points-collection feature for partners and an AI Assistant that functions as an investment education tool. In his remarks, Edi reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering transparent precious metals investment services that are customer-oriented. ‘The presence of GoldVerium is our commitment to providing trusted, transparent, and customer-oriented precious metals investment services. We believe trust is the foundation of this industry,’ he said. The launch of GoldVerium’s first outlet marks the company’s initial step in expanding its network of education-, technology-, and partnership-based precious metals investments in Indonesia.
