Gold Prices Today, 6 March 2026: Antam Plunges, Global Products Vary
Gold prices for PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) products were set at Rp 3,024,000 per gram on the trading day, down Rp 25,000 per gram compared with yesterday’s trade, according to data from Antam’s Precious Metals Refining and Processing Unit. The buyback price for gold was set at Rp 2,787,000 per gram. Prices by size include five grams sold at Rp 14,895,000; ten grams at Rp 29,735,000; twenty-five grams at Rp 74,212,000 and fifty grams at Rp 148,345,000. Next, the smallest and largest denominations Antam sells today are 0.5 gram priced at Rp 1,562,000 and 1,000 grams worth Rp 2,964.6 billion. Note that these selling prices do not include tax. Under PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, selling transactions are subject to a tax deduction. Sales of bullion bars to PT Antam Tbk with nominal value above Rp 10 million are subject to PPh 22 of 1.5 percent for NPWP holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. PPh 22 on buyback transactions is withheld directly from the total value. Global gold prices varied in early trading as investors remained wary and watched the widening Middle East conflict impact the global economy. According to The Economic Times, the spot price remained at US$5,076.09 per ounce, while US futures for April delivery rose 0.1 percent to US$5,084.50 per ounce.
