Gold Prices Today 24 February 2026: Antam Gold Rises Rp 40,000 per Gram While Global Products Plunge
Jakarta, VIVA – The gold price from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) is priced at Rp 3,068,000 per gram in today’s trading session. This represents an increase of Rp 40,000 per gram compared to the previous trading day.
As quoted from the data of Antam’s Precious Metal Processing and Refining Business Unit on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, the buyback price for gold has been set at Rp 2,854,000 per gram. Antam gold prices are subject to change at any time.
Gold prices by weight are as follows: five grams is sold at Rp 15.115 million, 10 grams at Rp 30.175 million, 25 grams at Rp 75.312 million, and 50 grams at Rp 150.545 million. Furthermore, 100 grams of gold is priced at Rp 301.012 million, 250 grams at Rp 752.265 million, and 500 grams at Rp 1,504.320 million.
For the smallest and largest gold sizes sold by Antam today, the 0.5 gram bar is priced at Rp 1.564 million and the 1,000 gram bar at Rp 3,008.6 million.
It should be noted that the selling price of Antam gold bars does not include tax. In accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, sales transactions are subject to tax deductions.
The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp 10 million is subject to Income Tax Article 22 at 1.5 per cent for taxpayer identification number (NPWP) holders and 3 per cent for non-NPWP holders. Income Tax Article 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total value.
Global Gold
Meanwhile, global gold prices plunged in this morning’s trading session. A strengthening US dollar overwhelmed safe-haven sentiment driven by US tariff uncertainty and Washington tensions.
As reported by The Economic Times, gold prices on the international spot market fell 1.5 per cent to US$5,150.38 per ounce. Meanwhile, US gold futures contracts for April delivery dropped 1.1 per cent to US$5,170.7 per ounce.
