Gold Prices Today, 2 July 2026: Antam Bullion Surges, Global Prices Strengthen
The price of gold bullion from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) was set at Rp2,640,000 per gram on Thursday, marking an increase of Rp15,000 compared to the previous trading day. According to data from Antam’s Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit, the buyback price was set at Rp2,345,000 per gram. Prices for various denominations were as follows: 0.5 gram at Rp1,370,000; 5 grams at Rp12,975,000; 10 grams at Rp25,895,000; 25 grams at Rp64,612,000; 50 grams at Rp129,145,000; 100 grams at Rp258,212,000; 250 grams at Rp645,265,000; 500 grams at Rp1,290,320,000; and 1,000 grams at Rp2,580,600,000. These selling prices do not include tax. In accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017, a tax deduction is applied to sales transactions. For buyback transactions of gold bullion to PT Antam Tbk exceeding Rp10 million, Income Tax Article 22 is imposed at a rate of 1.5 percent for taxpayers with a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for those without, deducted directly from the total value. Meanwhile, global gold prices rose in the morning session as investors assessed weaker-than-expected employment data and lower oil prices. Spot gold on the international market increased by 0.8 percent to US$4,063.56 per ounce, while US gold futures for August delivery edged down 0.2 percent to US$4,075.6 per ounce.
