Gold Prices Today 16 February 2026: Antam and Global Products Fall in Tandem
Jakarta, VIVA – The gold price for products from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) was listed at Rp 2,914,000 per gram in today’s trading session. The price fell by Rp 14,000 compared to the previous day’s trading.
As quoted from the Antam Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit data on Monday, 16 February 2026, the buyback price for gold was set at Rp 2,728,000 per gram.
Gold prices by weight are as follows: five grams sold at Rp 14.475 million, 10 grams at Rp 28.895 million, 25 grams at Rp 72.112 million, and 50 grams at Rp 144.145 million. Meanwhile, 100 grams of gold was priced at Rp 288.212 million, 250 grams at Rp 720.265 million, and 500 grams at Rp 1,440.320 million.
Furthermore, the smallest and largest gold sizes sold by Antam today were 0.5 grams priced at Rp 1.52 million and 1,000 grams valued at Rp 2,880.6 billion.
It should be noted that Antam’s gold bar selling prices do not include tax. In accordance with Ministry of Finance Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017, sales transactions are subject to tax deductions.
The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp 10 million is subject to Income Tax Article 22 at 1.5 per cent for taxpayer identification number (NPWP) holders and 3 per cent for non-NPWP holders. Income Tax Article 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total value.
Global Gold
Meanwhile, global gold prices fell in early trading this morning. US inflation data, which came in lower than expected, increased expectations of an interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve.
As reported by The Economic Times, the spot gold price fell 0.4 per cent to US$5,020.1 per ounce. Meanwhile, US gold futures declined 0.1 per cent to US$5,039.5 per ounce.
