Gold Prices Today, 16 April 2026: Antam Products Decline, Global Prices Shine
The price of gold from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) is set at Rp 2,888,000 per gram in today’s trading. This price is down Rp 5,000 per gram compared to yesterday’s trading.
Quoted from data from Antam’s Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit, on Thursday, 16 April 2026, the gold buyback price is set at Rp 2,674,000 per gram. Antam gold prices can change at any time.
Meanwhile, gold prices by size are as follows: 5 grams sold for Rp 14.215 million, 10 grams for Rp 28.375 million, 25 grams for Rp 70.812 million, and 50 grams for Rp 141.545 million. Then, 100 grams is priced at Rp 283.012 million, 250 grams at Rp 707.265 million, and 500 grams at Rp 1,414.320 million.
Furthermore, for the smallest and largest sizes sold by Antam today, 0.5 grams is priced at Rp 1.494 million and 1,000 grams at Rp 2.8286 billion.
It should be noted that the selling price of Antam gold bars does not include tax. In accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, sales transaction prices are subject to tax deductions.
The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a value exceeding Rp 10 million is subject to PPh 22 of 1.5 percent for NPWP holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total value.
Global Gold
Meanwhile, global gold prices experienced an increase in this morning’s trading. Investor optimism rose in response to the potential US-Iran agreement to end the ongoing war.
Cited from The Economic Times, the spot gold price rose 0.9 percent to US$4,830.66 per ounce. Meanwhile, the US futures contract for June delivery rose 0.6 percent to US$4,852.4 per ounce.
