Gold Prices Today, 15 May 2026: Antam and Global Products Plunge

Gold prices for PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) products are priced at Rp2,819,000 per gram in today’s trading. This price has fallen by Rp20,000 per gram compared to yesterday’s trading.

Quoted from data from Antam’s Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit, on Friday, 15 May 2026, the gold buyback price is set at Rp2,656,000 per gram. Antam gold prices may change at any time.

Meanwhile, gold prices by size are as follows: 5 grams sold for Rp13,870,000, 10 grams for Rp27,685,000, 25 grams for Rp69,087,000, and 50 grams for Rp138,095,000. Then, 100 grams is priced at Rp276,112,000, 250 grams at Rp690,015,000, and 500 grams at Rp1,379,820,000.

Furthermore, for the smallest and largest sizes of gold sold by Antam today, 0.5 grams is priced at Rp1,459,500 and 1,000 grams at Rp2,759,600,000.

It should be noted that the selling prices of Antam gold bars do not include tax. In accordance with PMK No. 34/PMK.10/2017, sales transaction prices are subject to tax deductions.

The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to 1.5% PPh 22 for NPWP holders and 3% for non-NPWP holders. The PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total value.

Global Gold

Meanwhile, global gold prices fell in this morning’s trading. The surge in energy prices has triggered inflation concerns and prolonged high interest rates.

Cited from The Economic Times, the international spot gold price dropped 0.6% to US$4,619.49 per ounce. Meanwhile, US gold futures contracts for June delivery fell 1.3% to US$4,625.7 per ounce.
