Gold Prices Today 12 March 2026: Antam Products and Global Markets in Free Fall
Gold prices from PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) were quoted at IDR 3,042,000 per gram during trading today. The price fell IDR 45,000 per gram compared to the previous day’s trading.
According to data from Antam’s Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit on Thursday, 12 March 2026, the gold buyback price was set at IDR 2,804,000 per gram. Antam’s gold prices are subject to change at any time.
Gold prices based on weight denominations are as follows: five grams sold for IDR 14.985 million, 10 grams for IDR 29.915 million, 25 grams for IDR 74.662 million, and 50 grams for IDR 149.245 million. Additionally, 100-gram gold bars are quoted at IDR 298.412 million, 250 grams at IDR 745.765 million, and 500-gram bars at IDR 1,491.320 million.
For the smallest and largest gold bar weights sold by Antam today, 0.5 grams is quoted at IDR 1.571 million and 1,000 grams at IDR 2,982.6 billion.
It is noted that these Antam gold bar selling prices do not include tax. In accordance with Ministerial Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017, the sale price transaction is subject to tax withholding.
The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding IDR 10 million is subject to personal income tax (PPh) 22 of 1.5 per cent for taxpayers with a National Tax Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 per cent for those without. The income tax on buyback transactions is withheld directly from the total value.
Global gold markets
Meanwhile, global gold prices declined during morning trading today, weighed down by dollar strength and renewed increases in oil prices that have raised concerns about impacts on the global economy.
According to The Economic Times, spot market gold prices fell 0.2 per cent to USD 5,165.73 per troy ounce. United States gold futures contracts for April delivery fell 0.2 per cent to USD 5,171.4 per troy ounce.
