Gold Prices Soar, Bumi Resources Profits Surge 99% in 2025
PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) recorded solid financial performance throughout 2025. Financial performance indicators experienced significant increases, from revenue and operating profit to net profit, in line with rising sales volumes and commodity prices.
Based on the annual report ending 31 December 2025, BRMS management reported revenue surging 54% year-on-year to US$249.35 million from US$162.34 million in 2024.
The revenue increase propelled even higher growth in operating profit. BRMS recorded operating profit rocketing 118% to US$93.18 million from US$42.80 million the previous year.
The company’s net profit nearly doubled. The firm booked net earnings of US$50.09 million in 2025, up 99% from US$25.13 million in 2024.
In an official statement, the company’s management detailed operational performance improvements in production and sales of gold and silver commodities. Gold sales volume rose 11% to 71,886 ounces, while silver sales surged 45% to 199,385 ounces.
The strong financial performance was also driven by significant spikes in selling prices of both precious metals. Gold selling price increased 38% to US$3,371 per ounce, while silver price rose 5% to US$35.31 per ounce.
The combination of volume and price increases strengthened the company’s margins and profitability. This positive achievement demonstrates strong growth momentum amid the positive trend in global precious metals commodity prices.
