Antam gold prices, monitored on the Logam Mulia website from Jakarta on Friday at 09:12 WIB, plunged Rp65,000 from the previous Rp2,922,000 to Rp2,857,000 per gram. Similarly, the buyback price experienced a decline to Rp2,577,000 per gram. Antam gold prices may change at any time. Sales transactions are subject to tax deductions in accordance with PMK Number 34/PMK.10/2017 for all types of gold from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram). The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp10 million is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 at 1.5 percent for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. PPh 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total buyback value. Tax deductions on gold purchase prices are in accordance with PMK Number 34/PMK.10/2017. Purchases of gold bars are subject to PPh 22 at 0.45 percent for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders. Every gold bar purchase is accompanied by proof of PPh 22 deduction.
