Gold Prices Fall Again, Now Rp2.63 Million per Gram

The price of Antam gold, as monitored on the Logam Mulia website in Jakarta on Monday at 09.10 WIB, fell by Rp3,000 to Rp2,637,000 per gram, down from Rp2,640,000, with the buyback price also declining to Rp2,490,000 per gram.

However, the price of Antam gold bars may change at any time.

Every buyback transaction valued at more than Rp10,000,000 is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 of 1.5 per cent. This tax is deducted directly from the total transaction value at the time the buyback is carried out.

Meanwhile, purchases of Antam gold are subject to PPh of 0.25 per cent of the base price listed on the official website. The following is the complete list of base prices:

• 0.5 gram gold: Rp1,368,500.

• 1 gram gold: Rp2,637,000.

• 2 gram gold: Rp5,214,000.

• 3 gram gold: Rp7,796,000.

• 5 gram gold: Rp12,960,000.

• 10 gram gold: Rp25,865,000.

• 25 gram gold: Rp64,537,000.

• 50 gram gold: Rp128,995,000.

• 100 gram gold: Rp257,912,000.

• 250 gram gold: Rp644,515,000.

• 500 gram gold: Rp1,288,820,000.

• 1,000 gram gold: Rp2,577,600,000.
