Gold Price Today 25 June 2026: Antam Buyback Plunges, Global Product in Freefall
The price of gold produced by PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) was set at Rp 2,655,000 per gram in trading today. This price fell by Rp 18,000 per gram compared to yesterday’s trading.
Citing data from Antam’s Precious Metals Processing and Refining Business Unit, the buyback price was set down by Rp 52,000 to Rp 2,320,000 per gram. Antam’s gold price is subject to change at any time.
The price of gold based on size is as follows: five grams sold for Rp 13.050 million, 10 grams for Rp 26.045 million, 25 grams for Rp 64.987 million, and 50 grams for Rp 129.895 million. Furthermore, 100 grams of gold is priced at Rp 259.712 million, 250 grams at Rp 649.015 million, and 500 grams at Rp 1.29782 billion.
For the smallest and largest sizes sold by Antam today, 0.5 grams is priced at Rp 1.3775 million and 1,000 grams is valued at Rp 2.5956 billion.
It should be noted that the selling price of Antam’s gold bullion does not include tax. In accordance with Minister of Finance Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017, sales transactions are subject to tax deductions. The resale of gold bullion to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value exceeding Rp 10 million is subject to Income Tax Article 22 of 1.5 percent for NPWP holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders. The Income Tax Article 22 on buyback transactions is deducted directly from the total value.
Meanwhile, global gold prices slumped in early trading today, pressured by a steady US dollar amid rising expectations of a US central bank interest rate hike. The spot gold price fell 0.4 percent to US$3,985.89 per ounce, while US gold futures contracts for August delivery dropped 0.2 percent to US$4,001.6 per ounce.
