Gold ETF Launches to Deepen Capital Market, Offering New Way to Collect Bullion

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) has officially launched five gold-backed Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) products on Monday (10/8/2026). The presence of this new investment instrument in the capital market is expected to aid the process of market deepening and open up investment inclusivity for all investors across the country. Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Friderica Widyasari Dewi explained that the launch of the gold ETF also marks the expansion of the bullion market, which is part of the eight capital market reform action plans, specifically integrated market deepening.
