Gojek Partners Can Access Subsidised Mortgages with Zero Down Payment

Online motorcycle taxi drivers working as Gojek partners can now access subsidised home loans without a down payment. The zero percent down payment access was granted through the signing of a cooperation agreement between BP Tapera and PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk. Deputy Commissioner for Tapera Fund Utilisation, Sid Herdi Kusuma, said this scheme represents the government’s support for informal sector workers who have an income but do not yet own a home. “Through this cooperation, Gojek driver partners who meet the requirements as low-income communities can access the KPR Sejahtera FLPP with zero percent down payment,” he said during the signing ceremony held at the BP Tapera office in Jakarta on Friday, 3 July 2026. The KPR Sejahtera Housing Finance Liquidity Facility programme is a subsidised housing scheme that helps low-income communities own their first home. BP Tapera will continue to carry out verification and eligibility assessments for each prospective beneficiary to ensure the financing assistance is well targeted. The verification results will subsequently form the basis for determining the eligibility of prospective beneficiaries to proceed with the housing financing process. Among the criteria to be verified by BP Tapera is that the online motorcycle taxi driver is aged between 21 and 45 years. In addition, according to Sid, BP Tapera also measures performance levels in completing trips, as well as active time or online hours in a month. Beneficiaries must also meet the low-income community criteria and have never previously owned a home. The cooperation between BP Tapera and Gojek will run until 2027. The government is currently not limiting the driver quota, meaning the facility can be obtained as long as drivers meet the criteria. Chief of Public Affairs, Public Policy & Government Relations at PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk, Shinto Nugroho, stated that drivers who will be prioritised are measured based on their performance. “These are partners who are top performers, or what we call champion partners. These champion partners are not only determined by how long they have been partners, but more importantly by the consistency of their performance,” he said. According to Shinta, there are currently around 3,000 Gojek drivers queuing for checks such as BI checking and SLIK. Additionally, there are 125 drivers who are currently ready to sign contracts in several regions across Indonesia.
