Gojek, the online ride-hailing platform, is offering a range of mobility solutions through GoRide and GoCar to support the community’s silaturahmi activities during Ramadan, as travel demand to shopping venues, restaurants, and mosques increases.

Gojek’s Head of Marketing, Marsela Renata, said Ramadan is an important moment for people to reconnect with family, relatives, and friends through a variety of togetherness activities.

‘Ramadan is always a moment to reconnect with the people closest to us. We understand everyone has different ways of maintaining silaturahmi. Through this Ramadan campaign, we want to ensure that whatever the situation, there is a way to keep silaturahmi by relying on Gojek’s services,’ Marsela said in a statement on Saturday.

A report by digital research platform Jakpat titled Consumer Behavior of 2025 Ramadan & Eid noted that more than 50 percent of respondents set aside a special budget for shopping and silaturahmi during Ramadan last year. This shows mobility is a key factor in supporting togetherness during the holy month.

In addition, Gojek is introducing the Silaturahmi Destination Recommendations feature, which contains a curated list of popular destinations during Ramadan, such as restaurants for breaking fast, takjil bazaars, and iconic mosques in several cities.

The feature is available in several major cities, including Jabodetabek, Bandung, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Palembang, and Makassar, providing users with travel route ideas to visit various Ramadan activities with family and friends.

Some of the recommended destinations include Pasar Benhil, Restoran Pagi Sore, and Masjid Istiqlal in the Jabodetabek area, Nara Park in Bandung, Pasar Ramadan Seturan in Yogyakarta, and many more.

To support safe and comfortable travels ahead of the Lebaran 2026 exodus, Gojek also provides in-app safety features such as Share Trip and an Emergency Button, as well as travel protection through insurance at no extra cost to customers.

Through its transportation services, travel promotions, and safety features, Gojek aims to make mobility easier for people so that silaturahmi activities during Ramadan can take place more practically and comfortably.
