Gojek Champions Local Businesses Through 'Jalan Jajan' Programme
Gojek is marking the school holiday season by presenting recommendations for local destinations and cuisine through its ‘Jalan Jajan’ programme in five cities: Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Bali. The curation from the Jalan Jajan programme directly links selected destinations with GoRide and GoCar services ready to transport customers, as well as helping them order from dozens of recommended culinary spots directly through GoFood. Through this initiative, Gojek is delivering a more practical and comfortable holiday experience, whilst simultaneously opening wider customer access for local economic players. Head of Marketing at Gojek, Marsela Renata, stated that the Jalan Jajan programme is expected not only to assist public mobility during the school holiday period but also to increase the visibility of local businesses and help create income potential for driver partners. ‘Through Jalan Jajan, the public can explore communal spaces, trending local destinations, and enjoy authentic and viral cuisine in each city. At the same time, we hope the increased activity during the holiday season can benefit local business owners, GoFood merchant partners, and driver partners within the Gojek ecosystem, whilst opening up more income opportunities and helping to drive local economic growth,’ Marsela said. This aligns with the views of Abimantra Pradhana, an urban design activist and founder of the urban exploration platform SANA Kenal Kota, who stated that the orientation of urban communities is now more focused on seeking hidden gems within their own cities. In addition to destination and culinary recommendations, customers can also use the promo code YUKLIBUR to receive discounts of up to Rp65,000 on GoRide and GoCar services, as well as enjoy various promotions from GoFood merchant partners included in the Jalan Jajan recommendations. Customers can access the Jalan Jajan programme to accompany their holiday moments until 12 July 2026.
