God's warning to national leaders

It seems that Allah has issued a lot of warnings, ranging from
the devastating tsunami catastrophe in Aceh, the communal clashes
in various regions, to the epidemics prevailing one after
another. What is wrong with the nation?

Allah would not impose punishments unless national leaders
were insensitive to the complaints of the people. However, our
leaders are apparently less inclined to reflect on the trials
experienced by the population.

During the reign of Caliph Omar over Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran,
Egypt, Yemen and countries along the Nile, his people found it
easy to approach him to express their grievances. This leader
felt no threat because the entire population loved him.

"If any leader causes difficulties to his people, Allah will
do the same to him in the hereafter," promised God. Let's pray
that Allah will relieve the punitive burden on this nation, which
has been denied His blessings.
