GNET Building Goodness in the Jabodetabek Region
PT Bangun Globalindo Perkasa (BGP Group), a holding company operating in the manufacturing, distribution, and retail sectors of building materials, has delivered positive impact to communities through a Ramadan 2026 Corporate Social Responsibility activity entitled “GNET Membangun Kebaikan” (Building Goodness).
GNET is a building materials brand owned by PT Global Indonesia Asia Sejahtera (GIAS), one of BGP Group’s business units in the distribution sector. This programme represents a continuation of a previous CSR initiative, “Cerdas Bersama GNET” (Smart Together with GNET), which focused on leveraging the company’s ecosystem resources to support social interests.
The activity took place on Friday, 13 March through collaboration with various orphanages and social foundations across the Jabodetabek region as an expression of the company’s social concern. All materials were applied through collaboration with GNETION, Indonesia’s first community of building applicators.
“As part of BGP Group, we feel a responsibility to deliver positive impact to the community, particularly in this blessed month. Through this activity, we want to build goodness, strengthen our sense of togetherness, and demonstrate our commitment to contributing to society,” said Randu Arifiant, General Manager of BGP Group, in a written statement received on Monday, 16 March.
The main activity, comprising product donations and Ramadan activities, was centred at Panti Asuhan Raksa Putra in Bogor. BGP Group donated interior building products including wall bricks for areas of the orphanage such as the library and prayer hall, as well as floor mats for the hall.
Beyond product delivery, the activity featured Quran recitations, artistic performances, religious lectures, followed by interactive games, prize distributions, and concluded with communal breaking of the fast.
Symbolic product donations were also presented at five additional locations: the Yayasan Yatim Piatu Rasulullah Foundation (Central Jakarta), the Asrama Yatim & Zakat Orphanage (Serpong), Arriyaadhul Jannah (Tangerang City), Pondok Yatim Piatu & Dhuafa Daar El Yaqin (North Jakarta), and Panti Asuhan Yatim & Dhuafa Al-Amanah (Serpong).
Through this Ramadan 2026 CSR initiative, BGP Group continues to foster a spirit of giving, strengthen social awareness, and build collaboration with various community elements. The activity simultaneously represents part of BGP Group’s commitment to delivering sustainable social initiatives, reinforcing togetherness, and cultivating a spirit of goodness during Ramadan.
