GMF records revenue of Rp8.25 trillion in 2025
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMF) recorded revenue of US$491.9 million, equivalent to Rp8.25 trillion, in its annual financial report as of 31 December 2025.
GMF President Director Andi Fahrurrozi stated in a comment received in Jakarta on Thursday that the figure represented a 16.8% year-on-year (yoy) growth, indicating gradual improvement amid global aviation industry dynamics.
“This achievement is the result of the company’s consistency in maintaining operational and financial discipline, as well as part of efforts to strengthen GMF’s role as a strategic enabler within the Garuda Indonesia Group ecosystem,” said Andi.
He added that the company’s profit increased from US$26.9 million or approximately Rp451 billion in 2024 to US$33.9 million or Rp570 billion in 2025, a 26.3% yoy growth.
On the balance sheet side, total assets rose to US$813 million, equivalent to Rp13.6 trillion, a 91.5% yoy increase.
Furthermore, the capital structure showed significant improvement, with equity turning from a negative US$257.9 million or equivalent to minus Rp4.33 trillion to a positive US$114.6 million or Rp1.92 trillion.
Andi stated that this performance improvement was also supported by corporate actions in the form of a land contribution valued at Rp5.6 trillion, which strengthened the company’s fixed assets and restored equity to a positive position.
In addition, the acceleration of non-commercial aircraft business lines, particularly through the SBU Defense Industry, Industrial Solutions, and Power Services, contributed to growth with revenue of US$36.7 million (Rp615.9 billion), a 59.9% yoy increase.
“This performance improvement reflects measured efforts from both operational and financial structure perspectives. Moreover, GMF continues to strengthen its role as the backbone of maintenance in sustainably supporting the Garuda Indonesia Group’s fleet readiness,” he said.
Operationally, GMF played a key role in supporting the Garuda Indonesia Group’s performance recovery through fleet reactivation work throughout 2025.
Amid global challenges such as engine shop queues and spare parts limitations, GMF successfully maintained turnaround times with discipline to ensure aircraft serviceability and reliability remained intact.
Andi stated that this contribution is an integral part of the Garuda Indonesia Group’s efforts to strengthen operational readiness, increase fleet utilisation, and drive overall service performance improvements.
“This synergy also reaffirms the importance of GMF’s role in ensuring the sustainability of the transformation being carried out by the group,” said Andi.
