Glory Harimas' Role in MBG Corruption Case: Selling SPPG Points and Funnelling Money to Dadan
The Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) has named private sector figure Glory Harimas Sihombing as a suspect in the alleged corruption case concerning the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme. The Chairman of the Indonesia Food Security Review foundation is accused of seeking partners, selling points for the Nutritional Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG), and subsequently channelling money to former Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana.
Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, explained that Glory Harimas Sihombing (GHS) was asked by Dadan to find partners for the implementation of the MBG programme. “Saudara DH unlawfully provided access to Saudara GHS to obtain SPPG kitchen points for the foundation owned by Saudara GHS,” Syarief stated on Thursday (18/6/2026).
After the foundation owned by GHS, the Indonesia Food Security Review foundation, secured the SPPG kitchen points, it sold them to other parties. “The foundation sold the SPPG kitchen points to parties wishing to establish kitchens in the locations of those points,” he said.
Glory Harimas also received access from Dadan to communicate with the verification team appointed by Dadan. This condition was said to have benefited the foundation owned by Glory Harimas. “Thus, Saudara GHS was able to manage the rollback of SPPG status under the auspices of Saudara GHS’s foundation,” he added.
After arranging the SPPG points, Glory allegedly gave a sum of money to Dadan. The money originated from MBG partners managed by Glory Harimas. “Saudara GHS unlawfully provided a sum of money, both in foreign currency and rupiah, to Saudara DH, which was given in cash and sourced from MBG partners who sought Saudara GHS’s assistance to become MBG partners,” he said.
It was previously reported that the Kejagung had again named a new suspect in the alleged MBG governance corruption case. The individual named as a suspect is the Chairman of the Indonesia Food Security Review foundation, Glory Harimas Sihombing. “After examining the witness, Saudara GHS, and based on the two existing pieces of evidence, the investigation team has named Saudara GHS, a private party, as a suspect in this case,” said Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi.
The Kejagung had previously named five individuals as suspects in the alleged MBG governance corruption case. They are:
Former Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana
Former Deputy Head of BGN Sony Sonjaya
Former Deputy Head of BGN Lodewyk Pusung
Asep Yusuf Somantri (AYS), an associate of Sony
Andri Mulyono (AM), Commissioner of PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal (PT YAT), the provider of BGN’s electric motorcycles.
