Glory Harimas Named Suspect in MBG Corruption Case for Selling SPPG Points to Partners at Rp 100 Million Each

The chair of the Indonesia Food Security Review foundation, Glory Harimas Sihombing, has been named a new suspect in the alleged corruption of the free nutritious meals (MBG) programme. Glory was asked by former National Nutrition Agency (BGN) head Dadan Hindayana to find locations for the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) and to sell them at a price of Rp 100 million per point.

“I can say, roughly for now, because it may still be ongoing, but what we are seeing at the moment is around Rp 100 million,” said Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, to reporters at the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta on Thursday (18/6/2026).

Nevertheless, Syarief stated that the pricing of the SPPG points sold by Glory varied. Syarief also revealed that Glory periodically gave money from the sale of these SPPG points to Dadan.

“Yes, so it did vary. It could be tens to hundreds of millions,” Syarief said.

“The payments were not made just once. They were made periodically, or perhaps when funds were needed. So, not just once,” Syarief explained.

Syarief said that his team is still calculating the total amount of money given by Glory to Dadan. He explained that the payments were made from 2025 until now.

“As for the total amount, we are still calculating it. What is the exact figure? Because this was carried out over several months, from the beginning of 2025 until now,” Syarief said.

He also explained that Glory had known Dadan since before 2024. “Regarding their acquaintance, it is true that GHS had known DH before 2025. So, around before 2024, he already knew DH,” he added.
