Global Oil Surges, but Pertamina, Shell, BP and Vivo Fuel Prices Remain Stable
Fuel prices at petrol stations operated by Pertamina, Shell, BP and Vivo have remained stable since early March, amid escalating tensions in the US-Israel-Iran conflict. According to Pertamina’s official website in Jakarta on Monday, 9 March 2026, prices for the Pertamax Series and Pertamina Dex Series have remained unchanged since early March 2026.
The following are fuel price details at Pertamina petrol stations in Jakarta:
Pertalite Rp 10,000 per litre; Subsidised diesel Rp 6,800 per litre; Pertamax Rp 12,300 per litre; Pertamax Turbo Rp 13,100 per litre; Pertamax Green Rp 12,900 per litre; Dexlite Rp 14,200 per litre; and Pertamina Dex Rp 14,500 per litre.
Despite experiencing stock shortages, fuel prices at Shell petrol stations have also remained stable since early March, according to their official website:
Shell Super Rp 12,390 per litre; and V-Power Diesel Rp 14,620 per litre.
BP petrol stations likewise show similar conditions to Shell and Pertamina, with stable prices compared to early March levels:
BP Ultimate Rp 12,930 per litre; BP 92 Rp 12,390 per litre; and BP Ultimate Diesel Rp 14,620 per litre.
Vivo petrol stations have also shown no price changes since early March 2026:
Revvo 92 Rp 12,390 per litre; Revvo 95 Rp 12,930 per litre; and Diesel Primus Rp 14,610 per litre.
