Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Friderica Widyasari Dewi, revealed that OJK had recently held a meeting with more than 100 investors at the global level.

At the meeting, she said the global investors expressed their appreciation for the Acceleration of the Indonesian Capital Market Integrity Reform currently being carried out.

“We also just met with more than 100 global investors abroad yesterday. We listened to a range of very useful inputs, and broadly speaking they also expressed appreciation for all the initiatives we have undertaken — what they are waiting for is consistency,” Friderica said at a press conference on the results of the third periodic meeting of the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) in 2026, held in Jakarta on Monday.

To the global investors, Friderica conveyed that OJK and the Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs) are ensuring their commitment to continuing the implementation of the programmes under the Indonesian Capital Market Integrity Reform Acceleration Action Plan in a consistent and measurable manner.

In addition, they are ensuring that areas requiring improvement will be followed up together with relevant stakeholders.

“So we conveyed that we are committed to consistently continuing integrity reform in the capital market, especially on the enforcement side,” Friderica said.

On this occasion, she outlined the various agendas of the Indonesian Capital Market Integrity Reform Acceleration, including the gradual increase of the minimum public free float requirement to up to 15 per cent.

This will be followed by opening up and providing shareholding data down to holdings above 1 per cent, as well as monitoring High Shareholding Concentration (HSC).

Furthermore, Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) data will be made available — that is, disclosure of the identity of the ultimate beneficial owner of a listed company — along with greater granularity, expanding to 39 classifications of investor types.

Next, the demutualisation of the stock exchange will be carried out, aiming to strengthen governance, reduce conflicts of interest, and open up wider ownership and investment.
