Global Challenges, Poltracking: Public Trust in Prabowo-Gibran Remains High

Public trust in the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka remains high amid global geopolitical tensions. A Poltracking Indonesia survey records the Indonesian public’s trust level at 75.1 per cent. “The approval rating for Prabowo-Gibran is still quite high, with all its challenges. Externally, there is geopolitics, and internally politically, Prabowo has extraordinary political strength or support,” said Poltracking Indonesia researcher Yoki Alvetro during the release of the survey titled “Evaluation of Government Performance & Prabowo-Gibran Priority Programmes” on the Poltracking TV YouTube channel, on Monday (13/4/2026). According to him, this situation demonstrates the resilience of public perception towards the direction of the Prabowo-Gibran government’s policies. Thus, the public is not influenced by the current international situation. In terms of party politics, Yoki said, Prabowo has almost no opposition groups. Even the government is seen as able to accommodate almost all political parties. “In terms of political parties, there might be no opposition, accommodating all, almost all political parties are already close to the current government,” he stated.
