This initiative demonstrates that a company is not merely a place to earn a living but also a vessel for blessings and social compassion, Saturday (23/05/26).

The programme has greatly benefited Syahru Romadhon, a General Affair Operator at PT Adev Natural Indonesia.

The house he shares with his parents and sibling in Kampung Bojong Lebak, Desa Bojong, Kemang District, Bogor Regency, is currently being renovated to improve living conditions.

Before receiving this home renovation assistance, Syahru often felt anxious, especially during rain due to the deteriorating roof.

“For the renovation, most of the work is on the roof, which had many leaks, so that’s the focus. There’s also the bathroom, where the door was replaced and the facilities repaired,” Syahru explained when describing his home’s condition prior to renovation.

Upon first hearing his house was selected for renovation, Syahru said he was both surprised and moved. The renovation work has now been ongoing for eight working days with significant progress.

“Alhamdulillah, my first reaction was shock and emotion. Alhamdulillah that PT Adev, in collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, has helped renovate my home. Thank you. Progress is about 60%. Hopefully it’s completed before the deadline,” he added hopefully.

PT Adev’s targeting of internal employees as primary zakat beneficiaries is not without reason.

Risma Melati, Assistant Manager of HRD Legal at PT Adev Natural Indonesia, explained this is a tangible form of social concern to improve the welfare of the company’s closest circle while maintaining accountability through official zakat administrators.

“Why (choose Dompet Dhuafa)? To ensure the programme is distributed transparently and delivers real benefits to those who receive it,” Risma stated while monitoring the renovation process.

The strategic partnership between PT Adev and Dompet Dhuafa has been strong since 2024 and continues into 2026 due to the numerous humanitarian programmes rolled out.

Risma hopes the physical assistance will bring not only comfort but also broader blessings.

“The hope is first for the employees to benefit and experience the welfare and verified assistance. It’s not just physical, but hopefully PT Adev’s zakat donations to employees will bring blessings for PT Adev Natural Indonesia,” Risma added.

PT Adev Natural Indonesia’s zakat disbursement for the 2025 fiscal year is closely monitored by Dompet Dhuafa through field monitoring and evaluation to ensure aid reaches eligible asnaf (those entitled to receive zakat).

“Previously, assistance has been provided to Adev employees who fall under the asnaf category, including education support, healthcare, daily necessities, and also food packages for communities surrounding Adev’s premises,” Pradila explained.

Dompet Dhuafa has also expressed deep appreciation for PT Adev’s consistency and trust over the past three years.
