Glenn Fredly to perform in Brunei

JAKARTA: One of Indonesia's best pop singers, Glenn Fredly, is scheduled to perform in Brunei Darussalam from Dec. 16 through Dec 18, on top his busy schedule singing for Indonesian fans.

His official website, www.glennfredly.com, reveals that he has 15 concerts in December, three in Brunei and the rest in a variety of cities in Indonesia like Bandung, Padang, Batam and Pontianak.

Glenn was among the list of international singers like Richard Marx, LeAnn Rimes, Chaka Khan and Mick Hucknall, who did a duet with saxophone player Kenny G, who just released his album, At Last The Duets Album, earlier this year.

Glenn, popular for his melancholic love songs like Januari and Kisah Romantis, also composed his own songs.

Known to have a consistently good voice, both in the studio and in live performance, critics said that Glenn may even have outshone Latino singer Enrique Iglesias at a Jakarta gig in April last year. -- JP
