Girl raped on way home from party

MALANG, East Java: Returning from attending Idul Fitri
celebrations, a 16-year-old girl was raped on Monday and her
motorcycle was burned by the perpetrator to cover up his crime.

The victim, And, from the village of Jatiwangi, Dampit
district was raped by Sd, 27, a resident of the village of
Dadapan in Wagir district.

The incident occurred when And was riding her motorcycle home.
The suspect stopped her and offered to accompany her as it was
already dark.

The victim agreed and let Sd accompany her. On the way, SD
stopped the motorcycle and raped the girl who was then left
blacked out on the street.

To cover up his traces, Sd torched the motorcycle. Nearby
residents helped the girl and reported the incident to the local
