GIICOMVEC Becomes a Key Moment for Business Owners to Find Operational Vehicles
Jakarta - The Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle (GIICOMVEC) 2026 exhibition, set to take place from 8 to 11 April at JIExpo Kemayoran in Central Jakarta, will provide a significant opportunity for business owners to acquire the operational vehicles they need.
“As an exhibition focused on business-to-business meetings, GIICOMVEC is designed to bridge the national automotive industry with potential buyers, both domestic and international,” said GAIKINDO General Chairman Putu Juli Ardika in an official statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday.
According to him, domestic commercial vehicles are capable of producing reliable products for all business sectors. This is inseparable from the international market’s trust in products made in the country.
The trust of overseas consumers in domestic products is not mere rhetoric. Data shared by Gaikindo records an increase in export demand volume last year.
The commercial vehicle sector itself contributed nearly 4 percent of the total exports, amounting to 20,326 units, where various categories of Indonesia’s flagship commercial vehicles have now become operational staples in the international market.
“The record-breaking export achievement in 2025 is concrete proof that the quality of Indonesia’s automotive production has been globally recognised. Increasing production volume is crucial to ensure the Indonesian vehicle industry has a strong supply base to meet growing global demand, while strengthening our position in the global automotive supply chain,” said Putu.
During the GIICOMVEC event, there will be various programmes that can provide solutions for business owners to acquire the operational vehicles they desire.
Meanwhile, the exhibition will also feature a special China Pavilion area showcasing the latest innovations from Chinese exhibitors.
“We want GIICOMVEC to be the right solution where trade visitors can meet all their business needs in one go. From viewing the latest chassis technologies, customising body designs, to exploring various innovations from the supporting automotive industry, everything will be available throughout the exhibition,” said GAIKINDO’s Daily Chairman and Exhibition and Conference Organising Chairman, Anton Kumonty.
