GIICOMVEC 2026 Records Increase in Visitors and B2B Transactions, Reaching 12,000 Trade Visitors
GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2026 was held from 8 to 11 April 2026 at the Jakarta International Expo. The exhibition reaffirms its role as a strategic platform for the commercial vehicle industry in Indonesia.
Entering its fourth edition, GIICOMVEC consistently serves as a business-to-business (B2B) platform. The exhibition brings together industry players to present technological innovations as well as cross-sector business solutions.
Over four days, the exhibition recorded 12,685 professional visitors or company/business representatives, as quoted from the official statement of the organising committee. This figure represents an increase of nearly 10 per cent compared to the previous edition.
The majority of visitors came from the business sector. They actively built networks while seeking solutions to support their respective business operations.
GIICOMVEC 2026 featured 14 global commercial vehicle brands, namely Daihatsu, DFSK, Farizon, Ford, Foton, Hino, Isuzu, JAC Motor, Mitsubishi Fuso, Sany, Suzuki, Toyota, Wuling, and Guangzi Auto.
In addition, more than 45 supporting industry brands participated. They displayed innovations in the fields of bodywork, spare parts, and digital-based fleet management systems.
Beyond the exhibition, GIICOMVEC also served as a space for knowledge sharing. A series of seminars and workshops were attended by more than 1,200 participants.
Various strategic issues were discussed, ranging from industry trends to logistics challenges and future business opportunities. This strengthens GIICOMVEC’s position as a centre for the exchange of ideas and solutions.
Support also came from various industry associations, including the Indonesian Truck Entrepreneurs Association, Indonesian Cold Chain Association, and Indonesian Bodywork Association.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry, Eko S.A. Cahyanto, views GIICOMVEC as a gateway for cross-sector collaboration. According to him, synergy between the government, industry, and associations is crucial to strengthening the national automotive sector.
“Through GIICOMVEC 2026, we hope for even closer collaboration among all stakeholders,” he stated at the exhibition’s opening.
GIICOMVEC 2026 was supported by Sailun Group as the main sponsor, as well as Pertamina Lubricants and Lalamove.
The organising committee expressed appreciation to the government, exhibitors, sponsors, and visitors who contributed to the success of the exhibition.
